The fight against cancer is not over yet !!! The battle for life, health and eyesight of less than 2-year-old Mary is still going on. If we stop treatment, we will miss our only chance!

Diagnosis: malignant neoplasm of the eyeballs was the worst possible information for us. Mary was only 8 months old at that time. We still feel a terrible fear when we remember those days. We turned the fear into action, and since then we put ourselves into the disease every day. The first steps were possible thanks to you - the army of good people who made it possible for us to fly to the USA to start treatment under the supervision of Dr. Abramson - the best ophthalmological oncologist in the world. We started our journey full of hope and uncertainty, still reassuring Mary that everything would be fine.

The one-year treatment of Mary so far went according to the plan. Gave good results because it stopped the growth of the tumor, but it has not cured it yet. In order to ensure Mary's safety, she must be under the constant control of specialists from the USA. Retinoblastoma is an unpredictable disease. There is still the possibility of recurrence or new tumors, and then our fight will start all over again. We are terrified of what could happen...

Eye checks are a guarantee of safety for us, because quick detection of a potential change may turn out to be crucial in the treatment process. Specialists at a hospital in New York can detect a pinhead-sized lump, and this has a tremendous chance of recovery. Rapid diagnostics allows to react and save from very dangerous consequences of blindness or even eyesight.

The need for foreign treatment is a huge cost - regular visits to an American hospital generate very high bills. The funds raised in 2020 have disappeared at a dizzying pace, and our treatment will take many more years. The purchase of airline tickets to the USA, COVID tests, coverage of insurance costs and hospital visits amount to hundreds of thousands of zlotys. This is the amount we need to protect the life and health of our daughter... We need every helping hand, every support is important to us as a rescue.

These expenses are beyond our capabilities. That is why we turn to all people of good will and sensitive to the suffering of a child for HELP, which will save little Mary's eyesight, and perhaps also her life.

We have already had a chance thanks to You. We are fighting for another one. A miracle could happen again! Please, a small gesture is a great support for us in the fight against the merciless disease of a young child.

We are doing everything we can to fight the threat. It is hard to imagine that after all that we have gone through, Mary will be doomed to the dark. This is a life and death fight!
