​Deadly diagnosis instead of a birthday present❗️Michał is fighting with LUNG CANCER. URGENT HELP is needed❗️

On March 4, Michał’s 47th birthday, we received a diagnosis - metastatic LUNG CANCER (NUT carcinoma), one of the rarest and hardest to cure types of cancer. That day, our previous lives, filled with work, travels, people, meetings, and plans, ended. 

My amazing husband has always been independent, reliable, autonomous, responsible, and has endlessly loved his family. Today, the tables have turned, and he is the one who needs support.

We have started a completely new, unknown, and unpredictable chapter in our lives. It includes a battle for Michał’s life, a concern for the future, a search for treatment options and ways to ease Michał’s pain, rehabilitation, and financing every stage of treatment… His recovery is the only possible ending to our story that we consider. 

However, we won’t succeed without your help. Our expenses for rehabilitation and adapting the home to fit Michał’s needs (chronic back pain limits his physical abilities) are huge. He also requires medications that are an addition to his chemotherapy. 

In case the chemo is ineffective (we don’t know that yet), our next step will be a treatment abroad in the Gustave Roussy cancer center in France or Israel. Both clinics specialize in treating rare cancers like the one Michał has.

Once he starts an expensive treatment there, there will be no time to lose, so we have decided to start this fundraiser now. We must be prepared for every scenario.
