Cancer and stroke are too much to bear! Help Mirek!

When I accidentally put my hand on his abdomen once, he screamed. I already knew something was wrong. I asked Mirek to see a doctor who told him his life was in danger...

He had colorectal cancer. 

First, he underwent a colonoscopy and gastroscopy at a private clinic. If we waited for an insurance-covered examination, it would probably be too late by now... The entire treatment went fast. Radiation therapy, followed by surgical removal of the tumors, was successful. Next, there was chemotherapy, morphology, MRI scan, and CT scan...

I might sound like I'm not impressed by all of this, but you will see why in a moment... 

The doctor was concerned about the X-ray scans of the lungs and liver. Mirek was nervous, although he tried to hide it. After all, his life and health were at stake. We learned that Mirek should have been administered blood thinners during the chemo... As a result, blood clots formed in his lungs... What's more, multiple tumors were present in his liver!

It sounded terrible. Thankfully, the tumors were operable, although it took two surgeries to remove them all. Unfortunately, the interval between the procedures was too short, and Mirek didn't have enough time to recover. Twenty-four hours after the second surgery, he suffered from a massive pulmonary embolism and brain stem stroke! In consequence, Mirek has lost all abilities! 

That's not how I imagined our life. Mirek is a strong, wise, and good man. Please help him get on his feet. He has been staying in hospitals in critical condition for several months. His body is covered with bed stores. Although he regained consciousness and can move his arms and legs, his path to full recovery is very long. I know he's in a lot of pain.

I found a rehabilitation facility, though. The treatment is effective, although it is expensive. The monthly cost of stay is 23,000 zlotys! Soon, I won't be able to afford it anymore... We've been fighting for Mirek's recovery since December 2020.
