It is difficult to express in words how grateful we are for the support we have received from you. The outcome of the previous fundraiser was beyond our wildest expectations!

The first surgery was simultaneously the most important and the most complex – it determined the future and mobility of Lenka. You made the procedure possible. The hip reconstruction was successful, despite the initial condition and all the damage resulting from the improper course of previous treatment.

Unfortunately, we cannot change the past, so we must accept it and look into the future with hope! Today we face another challenge – the surgery to remove all 10 (!) implants Lena has in her hip. It is necessary because the inserted screws started to grow into the tissues, causing unwanted symptoms.

We also need to prepare Lena's body for another crucial leg lengthening operation, which is scheduled for the next year – removing the implants will give us a "clean slate" and let us celebrate Lena’s STRAIGHT and EVEN LEGS!

The current surgery is relatively simple, so we hope it will proceed smoothly and without complications. Unfortunately, despite the low complexity, the cost is enormous and exceeds our financial capabilities, so dear donors, we kindly ask for your help and offer your support again.
