Save Solomiia's life!

A nightmare for a Ukrainian family! Solomiia, together with her mother and elder sister, crossed the Polish border at night from 26th to 27th of February, fleeing war. Solomiia’s father is fighting for the freedom of Ukraine, and the little girl is fighting against cancer! The war has interrupted the treatment! We have about 100 days to collect a giant sum of money for further treatment of the girl. Please, help!

We learnt about the diagnosis in June, 2021. Cancer, neuroblastoma... This was

the end of the world. We didn’t know back then that we would have to face yet another blow...

The diagnosis came too late, we lost the precious time. Metastases arose... Doctors in our country took the fight against the disease. So far, Solomiia has undergone 8 chemotherapy cycles and 6 cycles of mega chemotherapy. Her marrow has been “zeroed out” and then re-implanted.
In December, 2021, my daughter has undergone an autologous stem cell transplantation.

Since then we’re counting days... After transplantation, immunotherapy is required. Our hope was that Ukrainian government would subsidise the treatment, but it was buried with the outbreak of war!

Shock. Breakdown. Yet another end of the world... Solomiia’s father is a military man. He defends our country against the enemy. We had to make a very difficult but the only right decision in a short time.

I gathered my daughters and we started a complicated and exhausting journey to Poland. With a terminally ill girl...

We’re alone in Poland, with no place of our own, no work, no money for the treatment, even no chances to continue it! For our daughter this is a death sentence... Therefore, with the help of kind people I’ve decided to beg for help for my child through this site. We must go to Barcelona as soon as possible, to the clinic which specialises in treating neuroblastoma.

In our country we have no chance of starting a charity because of the war, everyone thinks only about how to protect our country, how to save the lives of their own children... Not long ago we were a totally normal family who encountered the tragedy of cancer. And now we’re refugees in a foreign country with a ghost of death haunting us, which is more prominent than ever...

I’m scared to death for my husband, although I know that he fights for the motherland. I know that he’s also frightened. Not for himself, but for our future in case he dies in war. What will be with his beloved daughter... Will he ever see her again? Will she survive?

I ask everyone who is reading this. I know how many tragedies there’s around us, how much suffering... But any kind of help and support is important. Today I fight for the life of my daughter, which will end too soon if no help is provided...
