AFL Polska flood relief // pomoc powodziowa

The south of Poland is currently experiencing some of the most damaging floods in history. Hundreds of thousands of people have been displaced, and livelihoods have been lost. Businesses have been impacted, and historical landmarks have been damaged, making the road to recovery longer and harder. 

Nysa is a city that's been at the centre of this disaster, and it's a city that also has an Australian Football team. These floods have affected many of those players, their families, workplaces and businesses. Głuchołazy is a neighbouring town that's home to many other players and a town that's been ravaged by these floods.

We're asking the community built around our sport in Poland, Europe, and the world to help out with any financial contributions they can afford. 

We aim to raise 10,000PLN (approximately 2.3k EUR) to help with flood relief, help victims, and repair damaged towns and cities.

Południe Polski doświadcza obecnie jednych z najbardziej niszczycielskich powodzi w historii. Setki tysięcy ludzi zostało przesiedlonych i straciło środki do życia. Firmy ucierpiały, a zabytki zostały uszkodzone, co wydłuża i utrudnia drogę do odbudowy. 

Nysa to miasto, które znalazło się w centrum tej katastrofy i które ma również drużynę futbolu australijskiego. Powódź dotknęła wielu zawodników, ich rodziny, miejsca pracy i firmy. Głuchołazy to sąsiednie miasto, które jest domem dla wielu innych graczy i miasto, które zostało spustoszone przez te powodzie.

Zwracamy się z prośbą do społeczności skupionej wokół naszego sportu w Polsce, Europie i na świecie o pomoc finansową. 

Naszym celem jest zebranie 10 000 PLN (około 2,3 tys. EUR) na pomoc w usuwaniu skutków powodzi, pomoc ofiarom i naprawę zniszczonych miast i miasteczek. 

Prosimy o podzielenie się tą informacją z menedżerami klubów, zawodnikami i fanami futbolu australijskiego na całym świecie. Nasz sport to nie tylko wspaniała gra; to mechanizm, który pomaga potrzebującym, a to jest jeden z takich momentów.
