Help to save our child! Arianka has a malignant brain tumor. We have started a dramatic fight against time. We have an extremely little time to collect a huge amount - 2 million USD! Treatment in the USA is the last chance to save our daughter's life, we must start treatment immediately. Doctors from America can save our child. We have time until December 31st - otherwise Arianka won't stand a chance! If we fail, the prognosis for her survival will get much worse, so we need both the great mobilization and enormous help of all the good people out there!

Our daughter is only 10 months old. During this time, she seemed to be a thriving healthy child who was starting to learn how to walk and talk. We couldn’t stop watching our little one as she was trying to get up on her own! A few weeks later our entire world has been destroyed as we faced the worst possible news to be ever heard by the loving parents. At the moment, we only have one goal - to win the battle for her little precious life! We can give up everything but our daughter's life. 

It all started in November when our little one started to vomit. Doctors ignored the problem at first but when we went to the hospital for the third time, the doctor noticed that Arianka's eyelid was dropping and her face was asymmetrical! From that point we knew that it might be something serious. On 11th November, we hear the diagnosis - a brain tumour. Something that none of us, even in our worst dreams could ever imagine. Our ideal daughter is seriously ill and the tumour is causing hydrocephalus. On the same day, the drain is installed – needed for the biopsies. This was not the end of the bad news - the tumour was located in the brain stem, which is responsible for basic vital functions - as if that was not enough, it is wrapped around a network of veins - vascularized, surrounding the main artery itself. For the next 3 weeks Ariana has to undergo 5 operations.

Her tiny body is being cut and bruised all over, but she takes it all like a champ and fights for her life! Despite the pain she feels each day, she enjoys books and toys. On December 1 we received a more precise diagnosis – medulloblastoma. It is rapidly growing and highly malignant brain tumour, characterized in the WHO classification as stage IV neoplasm. This sounds like a death sentence but it is NOT! The tumour is treatable! The prognosis in Poland is very difficult as this type of tumour is usually treated with radiotherapy, which is not performed on children under 3. Additionally, irradiation is very dangerous and causes irreversible defects in the developing brain. But there is hope! The only place in the world where Arianka has a chance to recover once and for all is St. Louis in the United States.  

Doctors have developed a method of treating this type of tumour, which - according to medical publications and research results - gives as much as 85% chance for total recovery! The therapy consists of administering high doses of targeted chemistry, with the earlier collection and then transplantation of stem cells from the bone marrow. Once the chemistry has reset the entire body, the stem cells are able to rebuild it. The process is repeated up to three times. This is a method that is only used on very young children. No adult would survive it - no one, except a child, has such a strong organism… After the treatment is completed, the organism is completely cleared of cancer. 

We are currently waiting for another operation in Poland and we sincerely hope that doctors will be able to reduce the size of the tumour as much as possible. This will give us an even greater chance of successful therapy in the USA. We have already received a quote - the cost of our daughter's therapy is $ 2 million. We only have time until the end of December to collect this gigantic amount. Please, help us!
