Last year we took part in a Charity Rally Called Zlombol where I took my 25 year old FSO Polonez ambulance from the UK to Poland ,where the Start Line was to head to Portugal!
May I say the car performed faultlessly but mor importantly we have raised over £2400 and this year we are aiming for £4k
Each team needs to raise a minimum of £ 600 for the orphanages to be allowed to participate, but I have set myself a higher target, as we have raised over half of it in the first week of running the Fundraiser.
Car repairs and prep will be covered by the team, as sponsorship is against the Złombol Rules. We cover our own fuel ferries
If any colleagues or your clients want to donate here are the links for it with 100% of the money remaining in Orphanages and kids in need.
We can offer advertising space on the car as well as some fun content for your social media.
Additionally I will be organising an event outside of Swindon that I can send you more details for.

The Rally:
Złombol (English "junkbol"; "złom" means junk) is a charity car rally event with a starting point in Poland. The goal of the rally is to finish about 2500 km over a number of stages using a car that was built or designed during the communist era. The rally takes place each year in July, August or September. The starting point is always Katowice. Last year they raised nearly 3 MLN Polish Zlotys (over 560k GBP) for Orphanages in Poland that paid for summer camps, equipment as well as helping Young People with a start into adult life after the left the facilities
The Car:
A 1998 Fso Polonez 1.6 Single Point Injection
This particular FSO looks the way it does because it actually began life as an ambulance, and was used by Warsaw’s Praga Hospital. It was built by a company called Autoform Myslowice who lengthened the bodywork and added the glass-fibre extension at the rear, and it was in service for a number of years.
Then It was purchased by the paramedic who once drove it and was turned into a regular five-seater for carrying passengers rather than patients
The original 80hp 1.6-litre engine remains unchanged, despite over 100k Miles Covered, but a pair of tanks were fitted that are able to carry 90 litres of LPG. It allows the quirky FSO to cover around 500 miles on its alternative fuel which is also good for the environment.
After taking part in the Złombol charity rally in Poland in 2016 when it went to Sicily and Tunisia.
It arrived in the UK in 2017. It has needed some work, though, as stickers applied for the event had damaged the paintwork, so it was treated to a full respray.
And then stickered again for Our Charity rally by the car Group Called Yanooshe , when it went to Scotland and later to Land’s End, so it is fresh so more STICKERS can be applied and raise funds for Children who are less fortunate than OURS.Last year I took part in a Charity Rally Called Zlombol where I took my 25 year old FSO Polonez ambulance from the UK to Poland ,where the Start Line was to head to Portugal!
