From Alicante to Ukraine
Skarbonka została założona z inicjatywy organizatora, który odpowiada za jej treść.

My name is Ewa. I love running.
I also love the sun, warmth, and the feeling of safety.
You probably do too, right?
Millions of people in Ukraine have been deprived of these basic comforts for over four years. Because of a brutal war caused by the Russian invasion, they are living in constant fear—facing destruction, displacement and one of the coldest winters in over a decade.
On 22 February 2026, the occasion of the Half Marathon (otwiera nową kartę) in Alicante—a city of sunshine and generous hearts—I will run for Polish Humanitarian Aid (PAH) to raise funds for people in Ukraine who urgently need help. The scale of humanitarian needs is enormous. Continuous attacks on energy infrastructure mean that many homes have no heating or electricity. Families, including the most vulnerable elderly people and children, are enduring freezing temperatures, often without access to basic necessities.
For someone in Ukraine today, stepping into a warm room, eating a hot meal, or charging a phone can mean the difference between coping and serious health risks. Millions survive thanks to humanitarian aid delivered by local organisations and volunteers working under extreme pressure.
That’s why I’m asking for your support.
Every donation counts. Every contribution helps.
Let’s share our warmth, safety, and generosity with Ukraine—because we have plenty to give!
You can find more information about PAH’s actions in Ukraine with detailed data on their dedicated website (otwiera nową kartę). You can also reach out directly to me (ewalekan91@gmail.com) (otwiera nową kartę) or to PAH’s spokesperson, my amazing friend Helena Krajewska (helena.krajewska@pah.org.pl) (otwiera nową kartę)if you have any questions.
Thank you for standing (or running) with Ukraine! 💙💛
A tip: If you don't have PayPal, you can pay in Polish zloty.
