Anita's Birthday Fundraiser for Julia's Brain Tumor Treatment

I am helping to fundraise money for a treatment that can save Julia's life.

Julia is a talented young woman from my home town in Poland, Radkow in Lower Silesia. Her parents are my very good friends.

On Julia’s 18th Birthday in July 2020, she has been diagnosed with a brain tumour, Pineoblastoma a serious threat to her life.

Julia undertook brain surgery and is currently under chemotherapy treatment in Poland.

To have more chance to fight this cancer, Julia needs a very expensive and very effective treatment of blood and marrow transplant at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Ohio, the US, a top Neuro-Oncology Clinic run by Prof. Jonathan L. Finlay.

A small community of Radkow, with a population of only 2,406, is doing what they can to fundraise. The community came really together organising many local and national events for Julia.  3,000,000 zł was raised over a month and we are now very close to sending Julia to the US for the specialist treatment.

However, time is precious, we need to act because another 500,000 zł is needed. With your help, Julia could be on a plane to the US clinic right now.
