Hi, my name is Pola, I need your help!

We might never meet each other, or who knows, maybe I'll play with your kids on the playground one day, or become a doctor at your local hospital, or a teacher at your local school. That's all I'm asking for, the chance to live my life and have a future. But this chance and that future have been taken away from me.

Pola is a 4-month-old girl fighting spinal muscular atrophy (SMA). She obviously hasn't made any plans for her life yet but she definitely will! I need your help, as every donation can help give Pola a chance to grow up!

Spinal muscular atrophy is a genetic condition that makes the muscles weaker and causes problems with movement. It's a serious condition that gets worse over time, but there are innovative genetic treatments that can help stop the disease from progressing. That's our goal - we are trying to collect over 2 million euros for one of the most expensive treatments in the world.
